Los Puquios Ski Resort, Argentina Suspends Operations Due to Lack of Snow

Due to the lack of snow in some points of the High Mountain, the classic resort of Los Puquios, Argentina announced that as of July 11th they are suspending their skiing, snowboarding and sledding activities. However, the resort will remain open for those who wish to spend the day.

On its Facebook page, the resort announced that they will “suspend their skiing, snowboarding and sledding activities from July 11 until the next snowfall”, in order to “guarantee the safety and satisfaction of the experience”.

However, they indicated that the “picnic area, rental of snow clothes and boots and food court” will continue to operate, “inviting the people of Mendoza and tourists” to enjoy the colossal Andes Mountains, with its unique landscape in the world, eating something rich, surrounded by the friendship and affection of those who work here.
