After 6 inches of snowfall landed on the resort this week, Arizona Snowbowl is pushing back its closing day for a fourth time to Sunday, April 19. The resort previously announced extensions to April 12 followed by April 15—the Southwest resort doesn’t want to go down without a fight.
The resort shared in a social media post:
Our thoughts are with all of you… BUT get stoked! The conditions are great up here & we’ll be open daily through Sunday, April 19th! ⛷️🏂
Gather your crew & get tickets online now for as low as $1! Or snag a 26/27 season pass and ski the rest of this week and all of next season for as low as $10/month – offer ends at midnight!
The season is now expected to run 139 days, from November 20, 2025, with advanced terrain open on seven trails serviced by the Arizona Gondola. “This year, we’ve gone to extensive lengths to stay open,” Angie Grubb said, marketing manager at Arizona Snowbowl. “After late-season storms, our teams have consolidated snow from across the mountain to keep key terrain running. We do it for the love of the sport, and every time we extend the season, hundreds of guests come back.”
As the winter season lingers just a bit longer in the Southwest, Arizona Snowbowl continues to defy the calendar. With a fresh layer of powder and extended operations, the resort is ensuring that skiers and snowboarders get every last drop of value out of the spring conditions. Whether you are looking for a final $1 bargain or securing a head start on the 2026-2027 season, the message from the mountain is clear: the snow is still here, and the gates remain open for one last hurrah through April 19.
