Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk, CO to Open Saturday 7th December, 2019

Are your legs ready for Bowl laps? Aspen Highlands, CO will open on Saturday, December 7, 2019, with 717 acres including sections of Highland Bowl (North woods, Child’s Play, and G8 – G0).

Exhibition, Cloud Nine, Loge Peak, and Deep Temerity lifts will be running.

Buttermilk will open with almost 300 acres, kicking off the season with Chocolate Day and a celebration for Klaus Obermeyer at Bumps at 1 pm.

Cloud Nine Alpine Bistro and Merry-Go-Round restaurants will be open and ready to serve.

Additional terrain will open on natural snow as conditions allow. View the grooming report for more details on opening day.

Aspen Snowmass and Aspen Mountain both opened on November 23, a full 5 days ahead of their original schedule.
