Snowbound Expo, the largest winter sports and lifestyle show in North America, returns to Boston’s Menino Convention & Exhibition Center in the Seaport District on November 14-16, with a confirmed speaker line-up that includes some of the most influential voices in snow sports today.

Snowbound and SnowBrains have teamed up for a flash sale, offering you free tickets until November 1.

The Inspiration Stage will host a diverse mix of Olympians & X Games champions, industry pioneers, content creators, and community leaders sharing stories and insights across three days of free-to-attend programming. The lineup includes film screenings, technical talks, and Q&A sessions, offering a rare opportunity for East Coast snow sports enthusiasts to connect directly with the athletes shaping the future of the sport.

  • Amie Engerbretson – Freeride skier and Teton Gravity Research (TGR) athlete, known for combining technical big-mountain lines with a strong voice on sustainability and environmental conservation in outdoor recreation.
  • Donny Pelletier – The viral alter ego of Olympian Troy Murphy, Donny has gained a cult following for his parody of 1990s-style ski culture and his iconic Maine accent. Behind the humor lies a serious message about accessibility and attitude in skiing.
  • Dan Egan – One of the original extreme skiing pioneers, featured in 12 Warren Miller films and inducted into the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame. Dan, along with his nephew Johnny Egan, will host a screening of their new film Return to the Silk Road, telling the story of how they rediscovered the charms of skiing Central Turkey three decades after their first visit to the region in 1992 for Warren Miller’s film, Steeper and Deeper.
  • Todd Ligare – A ski racer turned freeride connoisseur, Todd has featured in a dozen major ski films and has carved a name for himself for tackling consequential terrain with gusto. In this live session, Todd Ligare teams up with Carv, a digital, AI-powered ski coach, to unpack the movements, mindset, and precision behind his big mountain lines.
  • Noah Dines – Local to Boston, Dines is a skier known for skiing over 3 million vertical feet in 2024. Dines has redefined endurance and determination in the sport, which he will unpack alongside his unreleased short film.
  • Mardi Fuller – A lifelong backcountry adventurer, diversity advocate, and the first known black person to hike all of New Hampshire’s 48 high peaks in Winter. Mardi will share her essential tips on saving money on the slopes while staying warm & comfy, by taking part in winter adventure sports.

Snowboard Speakers

  • Zeb Powell – Zeb has become a snowboarding sensation in the past 5 years, known for pairing crazy long snowboards with gravity-defying tricks. The first black X-Games gold medalist and one of the most creative snowboarders of his generation, Powell will explore style progression, community influence, and the next wave of freestyle culture in an exclusive fireside chat.
  • Seth Wescott – Seth is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and lifelong outdoorsman with deep roots in New England. Best known for winning gold in snowboard cross at both the 2006 Turin and 2010 Vancouver Winter Games, Seth has spent his life pushing boundaries on snow and in the mountains. Come and watch Seth face off with Donny Pelletier on stage to find out who really is Maine’s Finest Athlete.
  • Shannon Dunn – The 1st American snowboard Olympic medallist, an inspiring figure in the early years of competitive snowboarding, and a living legend, Shannon will be gracing the stage on Sunday morning for an exclusive interview with Mary Walsh! The co-founder of Boarders 4 Breast Cancer, Shannon, has left her positive mark on the snow sports industry, giving back to the sport through fundraising and grassroots support.
  • LJ Henriquez – A rising talent in freestyle and urban snowboarding, Henriquez is known for his powerful riding style and creative approach to terrain. He was featured in Warren Miller’s 2023 film All Time, marking a milestone in his young career and gaining recognition across the industry. Along with Rob and Lu (see below), LJ will talk through the origins, goals, and stories of their culture-shifting snowboarder crew, Technically Doing It.
  • Rob Roethler – A standout among the next generation of snowboarders, Rob is a Burton team rider known for his effortless rail tricks, bold park spins, and a fearless approach to filming in diverse terrains.
  • Luis Medearis – Despite having only snowboarded and filmed for 4 years, Lu has already made waves in the snowboarding community, working with brands like Burton, DB, The North Face, and Oakley. Luis founded the highly praised snowboarding crew Technically Doing It to create a space where black and brown snowboarders could thrive on the mountain and ride with people like them. He will take the stage twice at Snowbound to discuss TDI and share his journey into snow sports videography.

Additional Highlights

  • Film Screenings: In addition to sessions, visitors will have access to athlete-hosted film screenings, including Return to the Silk Road (Dan & Johnny Egan), Queen of the Catskills with Julie McGuire, and a Noah Dines feature, all followed by audience Q&As.
  • Meet & Greets: Speakers will be available after their sessions for informal meet-and-greets. Attendees can speak with the athletes, ask questions, and take photos—a rare opportunity to engage with top talent in an open setting.
  • Session Topics: This year’s themes include backcountry adventuring, AI in ski training, twists on snowboard culture, climate action to save our resorts, storytelling and media production, gear reviews, women’s snowboarding pioneers, 2026 Winter Olympics contenders, and many inspirational stories from phenomenal athletes.
