big snow for washington

An atmospheric river is headed to the Pacific Northwest this weekend.

Mt. Baker ski resort in Washington state is forecast to receive 60 inches of snow in the next 4 days.

That’s a heckovalotta snow.  This holiday weekend at Baker promises to be just a touch more than completely nuts.  Lotsa snow, lotsa people, lotsa fun, lotsa beers, and plenty of good times.  Should be a free refills weekend at Baker.

Snow levels are looking good as well.  They should be around 2,500 feet.

  1. that place sucks, sorry but it is what it is. So yes it will snow, but it takes them literally a week to get the lifts running and parking lots clear. Impossible to plan a powder trip, such a shame
