Grand Targhee | Conditions Report and Resort Rundown

With 5″ of new snow again last night it looks like Grand Targhee is still stacking up snow this season. A season total of 390″+ is as impressive as the incredible backside views of the Grand Teton that greeted us after a short traverse off the top of the Dreamcatcher high speed quad. The sun was out in force allowing us to take in the breathtaking views and get a good picture of the overall resort layout. The sun and […]

Over-The-Head-Face-Shots @ Alta Yesterday | Video & Photos

I can confirm that is video is actually from yesterday, October 30th, 2013. The snow guns were most definitely on and the snow was finally getting deep enough to let the skis run a little more. Props to Nate and company for getting into Eagles Nest. That is a great early season zone if you have the stones to go ski it. It is mad stumpy in there:) This photo is from a zone near the the top of the Collins chair at Alta. […]

First Snowbird Pow Day of the Year | Photo Tour of Oct. 15th

After a long walk up Snowbird late this Tuesday morning K2/Scott athlete McKenna Peterson, Kyler Roush and myself were ready to take a few turns down one of our favorite runs at Snowbird. The snow was deeper than expected, so we decided that we could take a chance and ski a more aggressive line than Kyler had sampled the day before. Being back on skies felt really really really good:) The turns up top were surprisingly deep and fast and the rocks were not an issue for the upper faces we skied. Here Kyler shows you how to […]
