Grand Targhee | Conditions Report and Resort Rundown

With 5″ of new snow again last night it looks like Grand Targhee is still stacking up snow this season. A season total of 390″+ is as impressive as the incredible backside views of the Grand Teton that greeted us after a short traverse off the top of the Dreamcatcher high speed quad. Charging Hard @ Alta, Utah in Low Snow Yesterday:

Nate Fillnow and his people over at The Daily Pow are still getting after scraps of snow left at Alta even now. This edit is from yesterday and shows some really aggressive skiing on extremely thin snow in the High Rustler area. Hats off to you fellas for the bold skiing. First Snowbird Pow Day of the Year | Photo Tour of Oct. 15th

After a long walk up Snowbird late this Tuesday morning K2/Scott athlete McKenna Peterson, Kyler Roush and myself were ready to take a few turns down one of our favorite runs at Snowbird. The snow was deeper than expected, so we decided that we could take a chance and ski a more aggressive line than Kyler had sampled the day before. Sweet Bike Photos | Trent Bona Photograghy

The trails surrounding Fruita, CO are what initially inspired the mass migration of my friends caravanning from the mountains in search of dry single track each Spring. But now I am just as inspired to return each year for the camaraderie and campfire conversation that comes along with this annual riding adventure.
