OnTheSnow.com’s users, who collectively post thousands of firsthand reports and reviews every season, rated and reviewed resorts they’ve visited for characteristics such as all-mountain terrain, après-ski, family activities, and more. Out of hundreds of North America ski resorts, Banff Sunshine was rated the Best Overall Ski Resort.

Six other ski resorts took top honors across multiple categories in OnTheSnow’s Visitors’ Choice Awards. They include Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for Best All-Mountain Terrain, Telluride for Best Après-Ski, Wolf Creek for Best Small Ski Area, Winter Park for Most Family-Friendly, Purgatory for Best Ski Area for Beginners, and Copper Mountain for Best Terrain Park.
