Bariloche, Argentina Backcountry Report: Perfect Corn in the Sun Chutes & Towers

Report from September 5, 2022

On Monday, temperatures came down after a weekend of wind and warm.

We ventured out into a zone we know and love and hit our beloved Sun Chutes.

On the way to Sun Chutes, we skied a new, mellow line we’re calling Tower Chute.

We weren’t sure what to expect, snow-wise.

This is why we were so pumped at the end of the run after skiing absolutely perfect corn from top to bottom!

The wind got to blowing something fierce before the day was over.

A warm wind…

Spring is here…

Spring has sprung here in Bariloche with temperatures around 60ºF in the town as of late.
