I went to be last night at 1pm watching it rain on the summit via webcam.  I slept in and arrived at Cerro Catedral ski resort in Bariloche, Argentina at 11am in the pouring rain.  When I got the the Sextuple Chair, the chairs coming down were covered in snow.  I smiled…

I was mad at myself for arriving late.  I know better…

When I got the top of the mountain I found 10-24″ of new, wet snow and crazy fun conditions.  I skied as hard as I could until 4pm to make up for my morning lack of judgement.  I had an absolute ball.

There was no one out at all today and it snowed and blowed all day.

Despite being wet, the new snow skied very deep.  Porpoising turns, bouncing, slashing, laughing.

Snow line was about half way up the mountain around 1,400m.  But, it was snowing to the base as of 6pm today.

Today was too fun.  Tomorrow should be wildly good with the threat of some sunshine…  It’s supposed to snow all night.
