Today was our 4th day in a row of backing off lines due to avalanche danger in and around Cerro Catedral in Bariloche, Argentina.

There were 3 inbounds avalanches yesterday and one pre-public avalanche in bounds today.

We kept it mellow in the trees and on runs right off the lifts.

It looks like we’ll be avoiding steeper terrain again tomorrow.

The avalanche report is saying to stay off terrain over 30º of steepness tomorrow.

The snow was good up high today.  Wind buffed, soft, and fun.

The tree skiing was great but the snow got pretty heavy down low.

Up high in the trees was creamy.

Today was our 27th powder day in a row here…

It’s been an insane season.
