Yesterday was one of the deepest days of skiing I’ve had anywhere.
There must have been 3 feet of fluffy new snow at Cerro Catedral in Bariloche, Argentina yesterday.
It easily would have snowed 2 feet during the day… what a day!

It was snowing so freakin’ hard all day. Especially in the morning when it was snowing empanada sized flakes.
We skied the mid and lower mountain from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. with one run in the very close side-country trees.
Unreal day.
Ridiculously deep snow.
The forecast is for nothing but snow all week!
Don’t read this, look at the photos and videos.

How much can change in a year, hoping its snows soon
Miles, enjoy the epic skiing in Bariloche! I wish I could ski down to the base there sometimes, but do not believe this will happen to me. Yoiu are very lucky because I think that the snow cover is not so abundant elsewhere in Arg. and Chile.
Hey Jan,
Thanks, I am. Unreal season here… So fun when you can ski to the base and we’ve been able to do so all season here.
thanks, miles
