Big Bear Mountain Resort, CA, announced it would extend its season by at least three weeks. The Californian ski resort has moved its expected closing day for the Snow Summit chair to April 30, 2023.
The exciting news comes as the area has been experiencing record snowfalls. Big Bear Mountain Resort has received 210 inches of snow this season, the most in at least 20 years. In the last 24 hours, the resort saw 6 inches of snowfall, and conditions right now are perfect, with more snow expected in the next 24 hours. All 58 runs are open at the resort, but product, service, and location availability may vary for the remainder of the season and are subject to change, so confirm availability before visiting or booking.
Big Bear Mountain Resort is located in SoCal’s San Bernardino Mountains. The resort consists of twin resorts Snow Summit and Bear Mountain and offers a combined 230 acres of trails on 35 runs, tons of park features, two halfpipes, and over 500 acres of backcountry and canyon terrain. Big Bear Mountain Resort has the largest beginner area in SoCal.
