Big White Ski Resort, British Columbia, is back for the 2025-26 winter season with significant enhancements, including the highly anticipated reopening of Kettle Valley Steakhouse, new dining concepts, and over $4 million invested in lift infrastructure and guest services.
After a five-year pause, Kettle Valley Steakhouse returns this December in Happy Valley Daylodge with a larger kitchen, expanded lounge, and improved restrooms. Its comeback coincides with the launch of Moose Lounge, adding new après-ski vibes. Meanwhile, The Cabin Kitchen + Bar replaces the closed Globe Restaurant with Canadian-inspired fare from chef Ross Derrick. The Inn at Big White introduces The Fat Marmot, a pub and noodle bar alongside a dramatic new mural.

Big White’s $3 million lift upgrade plan includes reliability improvements on Black Forest, Falcon, and Ridge lifts. The resort also expanded parking by 200 spaces in Black Forest and opened new ticket offices for faster guest support. A new arcade and the Slush Cup pond-skimming event bring extra excitement to the season.
Investment in grooming and rental tech has raised service standards, with a $700,000 winch cat, a $600,000 tuning machine, and new calibration equipment improving on-mountain performance and guest convenience. A new daycare, upgraded retail at Whitefoot Lodge, and enhanced ski and skate services further boost the guest experience.
After a successful 2024-25 season, Big White is scheduled to open for 2025-26 on November 27. Season passes are currently 50% off until October 19.
