Big White Ski Resort, British Columbia, closed out the 2025-26 season in unforgettable fashion, as skiers and snowboarders gathered for a weekend packed with sunshine, music, and high-spirited celebration.
The first-ever Send Off event in the village and the legendary Slush Cup returned on April 4 and 5 as a highlight-filled finale, bringing the community together for two days of spring skiing at its best. Blue skies and warm temperatures set the perfect stage, creating ideal conditions for both on-mountain fun and village festivities.
Saturday kicked things off with a vibrant lineup of live music in the village, featuring performances from Bella Cat, Mivule, and The Boom Booms. The atmosphere carried well into Sunday, when one of the most anticipated traditions—the Slush Cup—made its return near the terrain park after several years away.

The event drew a crowd of enthusiastic participants willing to test their skill (and courage) by attempting to skim across an icy pond at TELUS Park. With costumes, crashes, and cheers from spectators soaking up the sun, the Slush Cup delivered exactly what it’s known for: pure, lighthearted entertainment.
The weekend captured everything that makes spring skiing special: relaxed vibes, big smiles, and a strong sense of community. It was a fitting send-off to another successful winter season at Big White.
Huge thanks to everyone who joined us to send off the season in true Biggie style. What a way to close it out!
As Big White wraps up another memorable season, the resort is already gearing up for next winter with its annual Season Pass Price Freeze. Skiers and snowboarders can lock in 2026–27 passes at current rates until April 30, enjoying unrestricted access to the mountain all season long plus new discounts on lessons and tuning. It’s the perfect time to secure next year’s turns before prices rise this summer.
