Spring skiing meets alpine nightlife this weekend at Banff Sunshine in Banff National Park, Alberta, where two international DJs will take over the mountain’s famous après venue, the Goat’s Eye Club. The two-day event will feature Brandi Cyrus performing on Saturday, March 14, followed by rising European electronic artist Ely Oaks on Sunday, March 15. Skiers and snowboarders will be able to catch both performances after a day on the slopes, provided they have a valid lift ticket, season pass, or sightseeing gondola ticket.
On Saturday, DJ and media personality Brandi Cyrus will bring her high-energy set to the Goat’s Eye Club. Cyrus, part of the well-known Cyrus family led by country star Billy Ray Cyrus, is the sister of global pop stars Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus. Beyond her famous family name, Cyrus has built a growing career in the electronic music world and currently holds a residency as a DJ at the iconic Wynn Las Vegas. She also co-hosts two podcasts: “Your Favorite Thing” with Wells Adams and “Sorry We’re Stoned” alongside her mother, Tish Cyrus. Her performance is expected to bring a festival-style vibe to the slopes as spring conditions begin to take hold across the Canadian Rockies.
The party continues Sunday when Austrian-born electronic artist Ely Oaks performs at the Goat’s Eye Club. Now based in Berlin, Oaks has quickly become one of Europe’s fastest-rising DJs, amassing more than one million followers across social media and over nine million monthly listeners on Spotify. In 2024, TikTok recognized him as the llargest DJ in Germany on the platform, further cementing his rapid rise. Oaks has collaborated with major names in electronic music including Alok, Timmy Trumpet, and Marshmello.
Located about 90 minutes west of Calgary, Banff Sunshine Village is one of Canada’s most iconic ski destinations. The resort sits high on the Continental Divide and is known for its long season, often operating into late May. The mountain offers more than 3,300 acres of skiable terrain spread across three mountains—Lookout Mountain, Goat’s Eye Mountain, and Mount Standish—and is renowned for its expansive alpine bowls, reliable snowfall, and sweeping views across Banff National Park.
The Goat’s Eye Club, perched mid-mountain near the base of Goat’s Eye Mountain, has become a popular après-ski gathering spot where live music and DJ performances regularly accompany spring skiing. Guests will need a lift pass product to be able to access the Goat’s Eye Club.
