Breckenridge, CO, Plagued by High Volume of Graffiti Artists ‘Tagging Everything’

The Town of Breckenridge, CO, is experiencing a high volume of graffiti around town, the police department reports.

The suspects are “tagging” everything from private homes, businesses, and public property parking garages, tunnels, electrical boxes and more.

Breckenridge Police Department is actively investigating these crimes and have successfully arrested a few suspects. However, there are more suspects out there.

“Tagging” is a crime and can come with fines of up to $5000 and jail time depending on the damage.

  1. Jesus Christ, Sue wants to socioeconomically segregate mountain towns instead of considering that local teenagers have discovered tagging.

  2. You only have yourselves to blame. You know all these programs to bring intercity, under privileged youth up to the mountains. Giving them free skis & snowboards so they can experience the freedom of sliding on snow. Well, they also brings their city habits with them. Drugs, guns, crime & you guessed it. Graffiti. Time to think about what is really happening and stop it.
