Winter has officially arrived in Utah.
Last Friday, Nov. 4, Brian Head Resort opened its lifts and terrain for skiing and riding, making it the first ski area to open in Utah for the 2022-23 winter season.
After an exceptionally snowy end of October and start to November, this was the earliest opening for Brian Head in its history.
Meanwhile, Solitude Mountain Resort will open this Friday, Nov. 11, as the second Utah resort to do so.
Rumors are that Brighton Resort may join the list of open mountains by the weekend as well, but this has yet to be confirmed…
