November 10th: That’s when skiers and snowboarders can board the chairlifts at Brian Head Resort again for the start of the 2023/24 winter season.
‘Who’s ready for the 23/24 ski season? Scheduled opening day is November 10th!” – Brian Head
Last season, Brian Head received a whopping 419″ of total season snowfall and stayed open from November into mid-May. With the season starting again in less than 100 days and an El Niño winter ahead that favors Southern Utah ski areas, it’s sure to be another banger one for the resort.
In other news, currently ongoing at Brian Head is a large expansion project to more than double its skiable terrain to 1,500 acres, making it the 7th largest ski resort in Utah. The resort has the highest base elevation of any resort in the state at 9,600 feet and averages an impressive 360 inches of snow annually.
