Bring Dad to Perisher, Australia, For “Rad Dad Day” This Australian Father’s Day

Father’s Day is just around the corner, and Perisher is gearing up to celebrate with something truly special for all the rad dads out there this Father’s Day on Sunday. September 7. Whether he’s known for his dad jokes, his dance moves, or his love of the snow, RAD DAD DAY at Perisher is the perfect way to honour him. 

The day kicks off with the Double Denim Dad Run at 10:30 a.m., starting from the Blue Cow Terminal. Participants are encouraged to meet at 10:10am and come dressed in their finest denim – the more, the better. It’s a chance for dads to show off their style and hit the slopes in true retro fashion. The best-dressed dad will walk away with a major prize: a pair of Black Crows Skis or a Burton Snowboard.

Following the run, the celebration continues on the Blue Cow Deck with the Rad Dad Party. From 11 a.m., guests can enjoy classic pub rock tunes spun by a live DJ, grab a cold drink from the bar or café, and take part in fun giveaways throughout the day. For those feeling hungry, the 20-hour slow-cooked beef brisket rolls from the smoker (weather permitting) are not to be missed–a hearty treat worthy of any dad. 

This August has delivered some of the best snow conditions Perisher has seen in years, with up to 40 centimeters of fresh snow forecast this week. It’s the perfect time to treat Dad to what he really wants: a day on the slopes with the family, surrounded by great vibes and even better snow.
