California has had a brutal wildfire season and it’s not over yet.

CALIFORNIA WILDFIRES in 2017:

  • 9,148 fires
  • 1,104,992 acres burned
  • 10,000 structures burned
  • 44 people killed
  • Over $1 billion of damage in the northern California fires alone

“Nearly 10,000 wildfires have burned over 1 million acres across California in 2017. To put it into perspective, more than 250,000 acres have burned just in southern California this December.” – NOAA Sacramento, CA today

Fingers crossed that these winds die down soon and that some precipitation comes into California.

The only problem is that California’s weather is not going to change any time soon…

High pressure is forecast to dominate California weather patterns for at least the next 7-days.
