It’s getting cold outside, snow is falling, and ski season is right around the corner! Time to grab a last minute deal on a pass, hit the ski swap, and make your winter plans. Another El Nino is in the works, which could mean big snow for California, fingers crossed.

Mammoth: 11/8

Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Mammoth Mountain, June Mountain, and Big Bear are all resorts included on the Ikon Pass.

  1. Your opening date for Northstar is incorrect. Hopefully it does not turn out to be prophetic as they had a hard time opening last November due to temps being too warm to make snow.

    Northstar’s web page calendar at https://www.northstarcalifornia.com/explore-the-resort/activities-and-events/events-calendar.aspx says “Opening Day Northstar California Resort will open for the 2018-19 winter season on November 16, 2018, weather permitting.”
