Cerro Castor, Argentina, Announces June 23rd Opening Date

Cerro Castor ski area on the southern tip of Argentina announced two days ago that they would be opening for the season today, June 23rd, kicking off the South American 2023 ski season.

Began the countdown! 👏🏻❄️
On June 23 we meet again to enjoy the following tracks:

The Ñires
Black Stone – partial
The Rocks – partial
Guanaco Trail – partial
Carpenter
beavers – partial
wolves
Condor 3 – partial
bandurrias
Cauquenes – partial

Lifting means:
– Chairlift of the Forest
– Park Chairlift
-Magic Carpet 1 and 2

Beginner and intermediate skiers must go down by chairlift from Cota 480 to the base.

The ski season in Australia and New Zealand is already underway 8,000 miles away on the other side of the world, and recent snowfall in Chile means their ski season is just around the corner.
