So what exactly is so special about the 4-Quattro Series? These boots outshine any competitor in their weight class. They are visionary boots bringing unheard-of downhill performance to the backcountry. The XT version boasts a whopping 130 flex in the men’s version and a 115 flex in the women’s version. Additionally, this boot lineup has a 4 buckle system, giving an unheard-of performance and transfer of power from a touring boot. Each of the boots in the lineup also has a GripWalk sole, once again outshining their competitors in this weight class. No other boot has this many features that increase performance with a comparable weight. On top of all of that, all the boots in the lineup boast a 61° range of motion giving ease to your uphill performance.

The XT version of the 4-Quattro Series doesn’t leave you feeling guilty about your carbon footprint! SCARPA’s products allow us to access some of the most beautiful places on earth, and as a company, they want to help preserve this for future generations. The Grilamid® Bio Shell is one of their next steps to help achieve this. The Grilamid® Bio Shell was developed by SCARPA partner Ems-Grivory, who used a plant-based castor oil rather than a petroleum-based oil to design the shell. This helps reduce CO2 emissions in the production of the boot. Despite the new material, the Grilamid® Bio Shell still maintains the elasticity and rigidity of a petroleum-based shell. On top of that Grilamid® Bio is completely recyclable.
