In the latest SnowBrains podcast, Miles sat down with Chris Davenport, the world extreme skiing champion in both 1996 and 2000, and star of over 30 Warren Miller ski movies.

Having skied all over the world, from the Lhotse face at 27,000′ in the shadow of Mt. Everest to his local Aspen Snowmass, CO resort, Chris is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to where are the best ski destinations in the world. So we asked him, and these were his favorite picks (in no particular order):

  1. Chris answered my Facebook message regarding conditions on some early summer conditions on Colorado 14ers after he had skied them. Not a lot of sports where you can have that kind of interface with your heroes, Chris is awesome.
