Colorado 3-Day Snow Totals = Up to 32″ of New Snow

A storm just raged through colorado from Sunday to Tuesday.  

That storm dropped up to 30″ of snow on Colorado ski resorts with southwest CO resorts racking up the biggest numbers.

(Utah just saw 54″ of snow in 48 hours…)

OpenSnow’s Joel Gratz is calling for 3 more storms to hit Colorado this week and next:

“The next storm will be weak and should bring only light snow on Thursday and Friday. A stronger and colder storm will then affect Colorado between Sunday and next Wednesday (Dec 7), with a third storm likely during the weekend of December 10th.” – Joel Gratz/OpenSnow.com

  • Steamboat – 16”
  • Winter Park – 16”
  • Monarch – 16”
  • Purgatory – 15”
  • Loveland – 14”
  • Breckenridge – 13”
  • Copper Mountain = 9″

The snowpack is still thin and below average in Colorado right now.  Be careful and smart out there.

Most of Colorado is below 70% of average snowpack for today’s date with southwest Colorado doing the best at 81% of average for today.
