Colorado Avalanche Information Center Membership Challenge: Sign-Up Now to Help Them Receive Bonus $10,000 Donation

If you’ve been putting off joining the Colorado Avalanche Information Center’s (CAIC) membership program, then now’s the time. If 250 people become paid members before October 31st, a generous donor will give $10,000 to support the not-for-profit avalanche organization.

Snow is back and so is the $10,000 Friends of CAIC Membership Challenge. If 250 members join before 10/31, a generous donor will add an additional $10k to support avalanche forecasting and education in Colorado. If you’ve been putting off joining, now’s the time to make an extra deep impact!

The membership program was started in July 2020 and plays a critical role in supporting avalanche safety throughout Colorado. Memberships are unrestricted support used for Friends of CAIC operations and programming, such as expanding Know Before You Go, developing avalanche safety videos and signage, creating outreach for new and existing users, building new web and mobile applications, and supporting the CAIC’s forecast operations.
