Temperatures are dropping and fall is starting to give way to winter across higher elevations around the country. Colorado resorts awoke to a fresh dusting of snow this morning, setting hearts all aflutter for the upcoming ski season.
At the highest of elevations, Trail Ridge Road through Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado closed yesterday due to snow.

Warmer temperatures this weekend will probably see this snow disappear, but we saw it. It was our first taste of winter. And we can’t wait…
