This May, Ice Axe Expeditions in headed to Svalbard, an island group only 600-miles south of the North Pole, to ski and snowboard, explore and frolic, observe and revere. They’ve journeyed there many times before and the photos are breathtaking.
I was lucky enough to guide on this trip in May 2016, May 2017, and May 2018 and the experience blew my mind.
Trip report & 100 photos from Svalbard below:
I’ve been invited to guide with Ice Axe Expeditions this May 2019 and I’m currently recruiting fun clients.
Please email me for more information:
It’s truly the trip of a lifetime. Just to be in Svalbard is unreal, getting to ski on top of that is unforgettable.
I’m as fired up as you are to go on this trip. The mountains are big, they’re majestic, they’re made for skiing, and we’ll be accessing them by sailboat. Nothing but fun will be had on this adventure.
I’ve guided with Ice Axe in Antarctica three times and Svalbard twice and I’m always blown away by their efficiency, dedication, and fun. These guys know how to have a good time and make everything as smooth as silk.
I’m currently looking for clients for this year’s Ice Axe Svalbard trips in May 2019. Please email me at the email address below for more details. I’d love to guide you and yours in Svalbard this May.
