Report from Tuesday 18th December 2018
What a fantastic day of storm skiing Tuesday was at Schweitzer Mountain, ID with the atmospheric river delivering the goods as expected – 4” overnight and more than an extra 7” early on, the perfect weather pattern to set up the holidays!
The trees were awesome, Headwall and Toomey’s are amazing and since it dumped 7” since 5 am and snowed all morning, free refills were there for the taking!

All this snowfall means today they plan to open terrain in the North Bowl without running the Snow Ghost Double. Of course, with all of this snow, Ski Patrol will have some work to do first thing, so please obey all closures and delays for your safety and theirs.
Schweitzer’s 12 Deals of Christmas continues today with $6 Burgers at the Outback Inn.
