Copper Mountain, Colorado, has reached a significant milestone this winter, becoming the first ski resort in Colorado to surpass 200 inches of snowfall. A storm on February 7 delivered four fresh inches of powder, pushing the season total to 206 inches as of today.
The resort also claimed the distinction of being the first in the state to hit the 100-inch mark earlier this winter. Copper has a 57″ base and almost two feet of snow in the forecast.
Looking ahead, Copper Mountain is set to host a series of exciting events this February. Highlights include Subaru WinterFest from February 21-23, featuring live performances by The National Parks, High Lonesome, The Goonies, and Simba Sax. Additional events include the second challenge of the Uphill Race Series on February 15 and a womenโs park meetup hosted by Lleky on February 13. Visitors can enjoy these activities alongside some of the best snow conditions in Colorado.
