Copper Mountain, Colorado, has launched its 2025-26 Scan Challenge, a season-long incentive program to reward skiers the more they hit the slopes. Running from opening day through closing day, the challenge is open to all Copper Season Pass, Copper Four Pack, and Ikon Pass holders. As participants log ski days, tracked automatically through RFID lift ticket scans, they unlock tiered rewards at key milestones starting at just four days.

The new rewards program offers incentives at multiple day thresholds, culminating at the 100-day mark. Each reward must be redeemed within the 2025-26 winter season. The initiative is part of Copper Mountain’s effort to build loyalty while building excitement around opening day and the benefits available to pass holders, and complements other pass holder perks such as Kids Ski Free and Friends & Family ticket discounts to exclusive event invites.

With today’s opening of the American Eagle lift and access to signature runs such as Rhapsody, Fair Play, and Main Vein, skiers participating in the Scan Challenge can begin accumulating scan days immediately. Special opening weekend festivities include giveaways and live DJ performances.

Participants in the Scan Challenge can monitor their progress and redeem rewards via Copper’s digital platform.
