VIDEO: Kings & Queens – The Evolution of Corbet’s Couloir, Jackson Hole, WY

SnowBrains |

Corbet’s Couloir is known as the testing ground for generations of skiers and snowboarders. This year Jackson Hole, WY wanted to celebrate one of the most famous runs in North America, if not the world.

The result? The inaugural ‘Kings and Queens of Corbet’s’ competition, seeing twenty-five athletes from around the world throw down into the iconic couloir like never before. Tricks such as double backflips, misty sevens, butter sevens, and huge front flips were all displayed for a huge crowd below in Tensleep Bowl.

This video is a behind the scenes look at that event. Kings and Queens of Corbet’s featured top skiers and riders throwing down like never seen before. Watch the athletes dream big, crash hard and push the evolution of what’s possible in Corbet’s Couloir.

For more gnarly footage from the event, to ‘meet the athletes’ who participated, and to watch the winning runs, definitely check out the ‘Kings & Queens‘ page on the Jackson Hole website.
