Crystal Mountain Resort, WA just received 7 FEET of snow in 7 days. That’s 84″ of fresh powder for your enjoyment.

On top of all that fresh snow, the forecast is calling for more throughout the week. On President’s Day, the skies are expected to clear, which should make for some great bluebird conditions.

02/17/19 Mountain Report:

Tips Up: February 17, 2019 at 5:00 a.m. Good morning from the summit of Crystal Mountain with your ski patrol report. We received a nice refresh of 8 inches yesterday afternoon, with light winds, clearing and cool temps overnight. We’ll be doing avalanche mitigation in a few areas this morning, but don’t expect this work to delay opening. Friendly reminder, no uphill travel is allowed when we are doing avalanche mitigation work. We’re forecast for cloudy skies with an occasional light snow shower, and calm winds with cool temps today. With these deep snow conditions the tree wells are deep and snow immersion is a concern, so be sure to educate yourself on the hazards and have a plan with everyone in your party if you plan to ski/ride off-piste.  We’ll be spinning lifts until 8pm tonight, and until 6pm tomorrow night. I expect skiing to continue to be good both on and off piste, see you up here! -Peter

The Forecast:

Look for a bluebird day on the mountain at Crystal Mountain Resort on President’s Day. After that though, the snowy pattern is expected to return throughout the extended forecast.
