March 2021 is the second snowiest March on record for Denver, CO, and with more in the forecast, there’s a good possibility it might become the snowiest EVER recorded.

Boosted by a storm that dropped over two-feet, Denver has seen 32.5″ of snow this March. It is currently tied second with March 1944.

The snowiest March ever recorded was 2003, when 35.2″ fell on the Mile High City. Just three more inches in the next week will see off that record.

Average March snowfall in Denver is just under a foot, 11.3″.

The current forecast has the possibility of snow on Friday and the 30th and 31st of March, so I wouldn’t bet against that record being broken.
