The temperature at Denver International Airport reached 92º at 3:25 pm yesterday, breaking the old daily temperature record of 90º set in 2009.
It is the first time this year that the mercury has crept up to 90º, and is about 3 weeks earlier than the average first 90 which is June 10th.
As well as bringing the heat, wind from the south also brought gusts of 41-mph in the Mile-High City.
