This is awesome news, we’re super stoked for them.

IT’S OFFICIAL!
DODGE RIDGE OPENS THIS FRIDAY, MARCH 2
with A POWDER WEEKEND
————–
After receiving a foot of new snowfall from the past week, this week’s huge forecast is upon us. Yesterday we picked up 8 inches of new snowfall at our base area with cold temps in the low 20’s and teens. We’ll have a break in the weather today before the next round of snowfall arrives Wednesday evening. This next round will be a multi-day storm forecast to deliver snowfall totals of 3+ feet by Saturday morning with continued cold temperatures in the 20โ€™s and teens. Forecasters are additionally indicating a very positive outlook for the following week of March 5 โ€“ 11 with a strong pattern in place for continued significant winter storms.

With the powder day conditions, we will have a majority of terrain open from base to summit with chairlifts 1, 3, 5, 6 and 7 scheduled to operate. Chair 8 will also run on Friday, but with a possible early morning delay as we dig out from the heavy Thursday Storm. All lifts are scheduled to operate on their regular schedule of 9 am – 4 pm. As always, please ski and ride with care and always ski and ride with a buddy and keep your buddy in view.
