The Virginia Lakes Zone looks to be going off, for early November, these conditions are definitely looking good!

“In search of leftovers from the early week storm cycle, we headed out to the higher elevations offered by the Virginia Lakes zone. The skiing did not disappoint – after a pretty short hike we scored a mix of winter and spring with powder and corn top to bottom. Awesome early November day in the Eastern Sierra Backcountry! Snowpack was a little thinner than it was down in the Mammoth Lakes area, with 18″ at 10,500′ and an estimated 30-40″ at 11,500′,” stated Tim Feess.
