Epic Pass is expanding its footprint in Austria’s Zillertal Valley, adding access to several major ski areas for the 2026–27 winter season. In addition to existing partner resorts Mayrhofen and Hintertux Glacier, Epic Pass holders will now also have access to Zillertal Arena, Hochzillertal, Hochfügen, and Spieljoch.

The expansion significantly increases the terrain available to pass holders in one of Austria’s best-known ski regions. The addition of the Zillertal Valley adds 339 miles of ski runs and 118 ski lifts to the pass offering. The Zillertal Valley is renowned for its mix of glacier skiing, extensive intermediate terrain, steep alpine runs, and traditional mountain huts that have become a hallmark of the Austrian ski experience. Austria has become increasingly popular with American guests, with 2025 seeing an increase of 15.4% year-on-year of U.S. visitors.

The addition strengthens Epic Pass’ presence in Europe as North American pass products continue expanding partnerships across the Alps. The Zillertal region now offers Epic Pass skiers and snowboarders access to a broader range of terrain, from the year-round glacier skiing at Hintertux to the expansive interconnected slopes of Zillertal Arena.

The move also highlights growing competition among global ski pass products, with major operators increasingly focused on international access and destination variety as a way to attract travelers seeking multi-resort experiences across Europe.
