Ski holidays in the French Alps just got easier for UK travelers. Eurostar has announced the return and expansion of its popular Eurostar Snow train service for the 2025-26 winter season, allowing passengers to reach top ski destinations without flying or navigating complex transfers.
Starting December 20, 2025, and running through March 28, 2026, the Eurostar Snow service will run every Saturday from London St. Pancras International to Bourg-Saint-Maurice in France, with return services available Saturdays and Sundays. The route includes key French Alps stations such as Chambéry, Albertville, Moûtiers, Aime-La-Plagne, Landry, and Bourg-Saint-Maurice, offering direct access to renowned resorts like Val d’Isère, Tignes, Courchevel, Meribel, and La Plagne.
Passengers travel first from London to Lille Europe, where a seamless connection puts them on a high-speed TGV bound for the Alps. Thanks to streamlined border checks in the UK, travelers arrive in France ready to ski with no extra paperwork or customs delays upon arrival.
Eurostar’s ski service also comes with practical perks:
-
Ample luggage space for skis and snowboards
-
Free onboard Wi-Fi and power outlets at every seat
-
Food and drinks available at Eurostar Café
-
Optional upgrade to Eurostar Plus, which includes spacious seating and onboard meals
The route offers a lower-carbon alternative to air travel while keeping comfort high and logistics simple, especially for families and groups carrying bulky winter gear. For British skiers and snowboarders looking to avoid airports and maximize time on snow, the Eurostar Snow train is a no-brainer.
