Have you ever dreamed of taking an epic powder ski trip to Japan? Most snow sports enthusiasts have, but maybe the logistics of traveling to a foreign country are too daunting.

Now Indy Pass is partnering with Japan Ski Tours (JST) to offer an all-encompassing 8-day or 10-day trip to the Land of the Rising Sun. Indy Pass holders receive a discount on the trip through November 15.

The eight-day trip price is $1,400 and the 10-day trip costs $1,770.

What’s included in the trip?

  • Airport-to-airport transfers to five Indy member resorts
  • All accommodations (including a stay at a traditional Japanese Inn)
  • Daily breakfast and dinner
  • Access to in-hotel hot springs
  • Free skiing with your Indy Pass

Not included would be your flight to Japan, transfers to the pickup location, lunches, and any other dietary needs. It might seem too good to be true. For around $175 a day you get lodging, two, meals, and logistics. Visit the trip page for more information on the itinerary, logistics, lodging, and food.

This trip is new for the 2023 season and was specifically designed for Indy Pass holders. Traditionally, the smaller, independent resorts in Japan were only visited by the most adventurous skiers. This was mostly due to language and logistic barriers. Now you can skip all the mainstream resorts with crowds battling for fresh lines and use your bilingual host to guide you to the best areas. Your trip can be customized as well, whether it’s a day at the resort, a day of ski touring, or a rest day to experience the local attractions and Japanese culture.

More about Japan Ski Tours

Japan Ski Tours started in 2014 and instantly became popular. It is operated by a group of bilingual guides who grew up in Japan. Their philosophy is that skiers who come to visit should have more options to easily experience Japanese culture as well as its world-famous powder.

Now, Japan Ski Tours is proud to partner with Indy Pass to offer an authentic and reliable experience to Japan’s deepest and most fiercely independent ski areas.
