Winds were so strong on interstate 80 this week that four eighteen-wheelers were knocked over when driving on a wind-blasted stretch of highway.ย
Part of i-80 was closed in both directions between Tooele, Utah, and the Utah-Nevada state line due to high winds on Tuesday night, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
Troopers said that a total of four semi-trucks were blown over by winds and one driver was injured, KSL News reports.ย
The portion of i-80 reopened at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, officials with the Utah Highway Patrol said.ย

It would have been interesting to know just how strong the winds had to be to do this.
