After dedicating his winter and all of his hard earned summer cash to being back in Tahoe last season and in return Tahoe saw its lowest snow year on record, Dylan Cautela was left with something to be desired in the form of skiing. The Maine native up and moved to Tahoe to work and ride at Squaw 4 years ago at the tender age of 18, giving up the things at 18 year olds are “suppose to do”, and pursued full on skiing, while bumping chairs at Squaw. Every season since he has been back after a long summer of hard manual labor in Maine, the true ski bum M.O. I met him and we instantly bonded and absolutely dominated Squaw together, and pushed each other to go bigger. This past fall he made the jump and pursued South America winter with the help from the great people at SASS Global travel in order to fill the void left by the Tahoe season last year. Ironically enough this was the first year in 5 I did not get to go to South America due to work commitments, thus he filled my place, but just so he knows I am still way radder than him. Below are some the pictures taken during his week long August shred mission in Bariloche Argentina
