The long-running collaboration between Snowboy Productions and Banff Sunshine, Alberta, will come to a close later this month, as the eighth and final installment of “Dusk of The Village” opens to the public on Saturday, March 21.
The event marks the conclusion of a ten-year partnership that has brought a series of progressive terrain park builds to the resort, combining creative design with rider-focused features. This year’s setup, located off Strawberry at Banff Sunshine, will feature a custom-built course of jibs and transitions designed to challenge and inspire snowboarders of all levels.

“We are proud to announce that we will be writing the eighth and final chapter of the epic, ten year Snowboy x Sunshine Village collaboration with Dusk of The Village,” the resort shared on its social media site. Banff Sunshine describes the event as both a celebration of snowboarding and a showcase of community, with riders invited to test the course alongside some of the strongest freestyle talent in Western Canada. Spectators will also be able to watch from the side of Strawberry Face, offering a clear view of how experienced riders approach the unique setup.

With this final edition, organizers are aiming to deliver a closing chapter that reflects the creativity and progression that have defined the project since its inception.
