The Fonna Glacier Ski Resort is a summer ski resort on the Folgefonna Glacier in Norway. To reach the ski resort, you have to travel along a 12 mile (19km) glacier road, that is closed usually until the end of April. Therefore, Fonna is only open from about late April or early May until September, when the roads are clear. This year, Fonna will open on Saturday May 6, 2023.

Fonna is very popular for summer training for European snowsports athletes. It has a unique freestyle park that is unrivalled in Europe with regards to summer ski options. Fonna is located on the Folgefonna Glacier in Norway, about seven hours west of Lillehammer, location of the 1994 Winter Olympics.

Fonna Glacier Ski Resort has 3 miles (5km) of slopes across four different runs serviced by a single T-bar. The T-bar base is at an elevation of 3,947 ft (1,203m) and services up to 4,757 ft (1,450m). Fonna also offers summer cross-country trails for classic and skate training on top of the glacier.

Fonna is one of only six summer-only ski areas in the world, three of which are in Norway. In the US there is only one summer-only resort, Beartooth Basin on the Wyoming/Montana border. Italy has the Passo Stelvio which is reached via the famous Stelvio Pass and Gassan in Japan.
