How Cheesy was Squaw Valley in 1989?

This was the era of Hot Dog the Movie, big hair, goofy style, and lots of cocaine.  All of these things are reflected well in this 1989 Squaw Valley video.

There is a decent cliff drop right at 4:20 in the video…  The rest is pretty funny.

Supposedly this was shot for some ski gear companies.  Whatever it was for, it’s certainly a interesting time capsule to look back on.

  1. Tom Day sighting. Seriously.

I lived in Squaw then. We were always amazed at the crap guys had to wear to shoot movies. Seemed wrong. Always made good people watching on the weekends because the kooks from the bay area would show up wearing this crap.

Got an opinion? Let us know...
