Telemark skiing has always been a niche sport. One that attracts people that like a surfy feel of the turn and being different than the status quo. Ty Dayberry caught on to these aspects of the sport from a young age and has been on the forefront of progression in the Telemark industry for years. In his film “Future Freeheel” he discusses why he likes to telemark, how telemark skiing is its own sport separate from alpine skiing, and who/what influences the way he rides. The film showcases telemark skiing from Erik Nordin, Andreas Sjobeck, and of course Ty Dayberry and sets the stage for an emerging generation of ripping tele skiers.
