Report from February 27 & 28, 2023

Sweet patron saint of the snowball, the last couple of days have been laugh-out-loud awesome at Grand Targhee Resort!

Targhee and Greater Teton Region have welcomed a healthy dose of tenacious powder snow. The official report from the range’s West side states is a sneaky-deep and downright magical 14 inches.

For a few glorious afternoon hours yesterday, it was snowing as hard as we’ve seen it fall all season at Grand Targhee.

And today did a marvelous job of carrying on that theme.

The terrain of Targhee’s Peaked Mountain, smoothly accessed by brand new Colter Chairlift, held the diamond goods of the day; huge wind lips, party pillows, and creamy fields everywhere the eye could see (which at the top wasn’t super far, admittedly).

Frankly, it’s all good every which way one turns, so all that remains is to RIP IT!

Look for a break in this storm cycle around mid-week, with another bout rolling into Grand Targhee a couple of days later.

Good times are ahead at The ‘Ghee!
