After a glorious, and somewhat catch-em-by-surprise storm cell over the weekend, Grand Targhee Resort has reached an epic 500″ of snowfall for the season.

And there’s more of the powder-y stuff inbound throughout the week ahead.

It’s the sort of depth in snow at Targhee that almost mandates a wide-open, steep pitch for maximum speed. Anything less and its inch-worm travel, at best. And if skiing with micro-groms, choose terrain with care and keep eyes on at all times.

It’s snorkel season at good ol’ Grand Targhee Resort in the Teton Mountains.
