The snow continues to build up at Grand Targhee Resort as another storm dropped a fresh layer of powder for Presidents Day Weekend Feb 18 2018.

The Targhee Vibe has been in full effect as skiers and boarders flock in from other states to sample the goods while even on what seems like a busy day the liftlines were quickly processed and riders disperse throughout the entire mountain- 100% open and filled in.

Blowing winds from the south move the powder about and deposit it into the north facing slopes, finding a home in the steep trees and gullies.

The weather plays a typical mix of overcast to afternoon sunlight- a bit on the chilly side, additional puffy vest recommended and photo-chromatic lens seem to be key to adapting to the light.

Reminder: Winter is alive in the Tetons and ready for round 2 with Grand Targhee Resort is topping 300″. So keep those skis waxed- there is still an entire second half of winter to come.
