Guy Smashes World Record for Running a Marathon in Ski Boots

I find it awkward walking the 200m from the car to the gondola in ski-boots, but this guy makes that look like a walk in the park. Orthopedic surgeon Paul Harnett just smashed the world record for running a marathon in ski-boots on Sunday, running the 26.2miles in London in 5h30mins.

Taking over 20mins off the previous record of 5 hours 52 minutes he raised £10,000 for the British Paralympic Association and World Orthopaedic Concern.

The boot he wore was a Tecnica Cochise with alpine soles.

Congratulations, Paul! What an achievement…
